We used previous Punch events to create a story for the brand whilst encouraging new events and news as their user focus upon entering the website. Visually, we completely switched the concept from the previous website to a dark sophisticated look whilst using colourful gradients to create an urban musical character for the website.
Although the visual design for the website was the focus for Punch, we made suggestions to their main focus which was to focus to B2B and B2C. This led us into our user experience focused stage.
To create a feel for both investing businesses and young musical talent, colour drove the website to engagement through areas for B2B such as Team, Board and Work with Punch whilst strong imagery and videos were used to separate the user goals to catch the attention of their B2C users.
Ever since the launch of the new website, users have stayed on the website for an average of 2minutes 10 seconds compared to the 43 seconds prior. Users have increased at its highest month by 800% whilst also increasing the sessions by a furhter 500% at its best month.
Punch Records acknowledged that their previous website did not fit their brand. They had a conversation with us here at Save As to completely refresh their website with engaging content through HD videography and photography and create a new musical feel to the website by appealing to both B2B and B2C audiences.
